Designer Outlet Salzburg lies in Wals-Himmelreich right next to Salzburg W. A. Mozart Airport, about 10 minutes from the city centre, around 90 minutes by car from Munich and three hours from Vienna. The centre opened in 2011, is operated by McArthurGlen. 78 stores offer fashion, shoes, sportswear, lingerie, cosmetics and homeware from well-known brands at reduced prices. It is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm and on Saturdays until 6 pm.

The Cineplexx Salzburg Airport cinema is part of the centre, and there is a McDonald’s restaurant in car park P2.

How to get to Designer Outlet Salzburg
- By car: via the A1/A8; the section between the Walserberg border and Salzburg-Nord has been toll-free in both directions since December 2019. Follow the signs to the car park.
- By trolleybus: about 15 minutes from the city centre to the dedicated “DOC Himmelreich” stop: line 2 (main station – Mirabellplatz – DOC Himmelreich) and line 10 (Ferdinand-Hanusch-Platz – Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz – DOC Himmelreich). A ticket costs about €2.45 from the machine or about €3 on the bus.
- By train: to Salzburg main station, then bus line 2, 10 or 27.
- By plane: Salzburg Airport is right next door.
